Photojournalism


The photo shows me in the line to the Slipknot concert. It was taken Friday July 26th 2019. 
Its significance outside personally loving the band and it being my first time I saw them, it was their first US show in 3 years at the time, and still as of typing this is the last time they have come to the Bay Area. Despite how long the line looks here it went beyond eyesight behind us shortly after me and my mom got in.

Element of photography: Color

Image
Color is the hue reflection that your eyes pick up in different wavelengths. On the first image, the green of the trees pops out first, taking up most of the screen with its vibrant green. The second image is a similar thing as well, but the closeup of the saturated green with the washed out grey concrete background makes it pop out even more. In the third image, the purple/small amounts of orange covering the sky stand out despite the darkness. These colors not commonly being in the sky pop out as in, "oh that is really weird, why is that happening?" The smoke from a lot of the fires in 2020 caused the sky to look like that for a time. In the 4th photo it is again a smoke photo, but it was less covered in my area specifically, and the contrast of the darker colors below with the red/orange/yellow above it with both being very heavily saturated make it pop out, its vibrant colors giving it a beautiful sight.   What did Clark do before photography? Working in a botanical garden What do you like about his work? the sheer detail, and how up close he is with the waves/water What do you not like about his work? isn't really anything that I don't like about it What brand of camera does he use and how does he take it into the water? Canon Is this a career that you would consider, why/why not? Maybe, depends on how reliable/profitable is, as well as vacation time for concerts and such.
